Glenn Thomas (februari 2007)
For the past 40 years I have been painting and cutting into (lime wood-) panels having a distaste for the structure and shape limitations of canvas. I have spent an equal amount of time printmaking and working outside of my studio on drawings and water colors.
My most recent project is a series of prints I made together with the writer Paul Auster combining a text of his from The N.Y. Trilogy – City of Glass with drawings of mine. This work was shown at The Center for Book Arts in New York City in the fall of 2006. We are also working on an art book project called The Inner Life of Martin Frost.
